Biały laminat oddychający

Breathable Laminate

White laminate of spunbond nonwoven fabric and PE film with very good air-permeable properties. Unlike many laminates, it is not a transparent material. The thickness of the fabric and its softness provide exceptional comfort and reduce the production of sounds when rubbing the material while wearing it.

Blue surgical gown

Surgical Gown

A disposable surgical gown made of SMS nonwoven fabric that was medically certified. The design of the gown is universal, it can be freely adjusted to any silhouette. The material from which the gown was made is waterproof and breathable.

White protective medical coverall

Protective medical coverall

The protective overall is available in white and in three sizes M / L / XL. It has a well-fitted hood and the possibility of adjusting the cuffs and sleeves. It provides a very good protection against harmful external factors.

Blue Spunbond nonwoven

Spunbond Nonwoven

Spunbond polypropylene nonwovens are used mainly in medical, hygienic, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. They are used as stand-alone materials, offering low weight with relatively high strength properties. They can be also composed with other materials, gaining completely new properties. The compositions are used mainly for hygienic applications, construction goods and in automotive industry.

Rolls of meltblown nonwowen polipropylene fabrics

Meltblown Nonwoven

Filter nonwovens almost completely minimizes the access of pathogens and airborne contaminants. The material has high mechanical strength and high air permeability, which facilitates breathing, e.g. in the case of masks. The nonwoven fabric can be combined with other materials, e.g. spunbond, to improve filtration efficiency.

Blue protective medical laminate

Protective medical laminate

The material is covered with polyethylene, which creates a layer resistant to synthetic blood. It can be used for the production of gowns and coveralls, but it is not a breathable material.

Blue Spunbond nonwoven

Polypropylene Nonwoven

Polypropylene nonwovens are valued in many industries due to their properties. They were produced using the spunbond technology. As a result, they are soft, have low tensile strength, are relatively stiff and will not fray when cutting. They are refractory (they melt at high temperatures, and do not catch fire). In addition, PP nonwovens are air permeable and are also very resistant to stretching, tearing and abrasion.

Green SMS nonwoven

SMS Nonwoven

A three-layer nonwoven fabric with a carefully selected material composition, thanks to which it gains unique properties such as: positive bacterial filtration tests above 98%, low permeability of pollutants and liquids, free air flow – breathable material, wear resistance and tear resistance.

Medical nonwovens

Medical nonwoven is popular in the medical industry for its properties such as water absorption and microorganism filtration. Polypropylene nonwovens such as spunbond, meltblown, SMS or laminates are non-dusting materials, which is why they are perfect for medical goods. Special breathable laminates are applied in medical clothing, where protection against liquids, including blood, is important. They ensure water resistance, and at the same time significantly reduce the inleakage of liquids.

Nonwovens and certified medical clothing

The Bermed medical nonwovens have certificates that prove the high quality of materials and resistance to various types of external factors. Meltblown and SMS nonwovens have been tested for bacterial filtration. BFE for meltblown is 99.6%, whereas for SMS nonwoven it is above 98%. Laboratory tests were also carried out on the protective laminated nonwoven fabric for which resistance to synthetic blood with a pressure of up to 20 kPa was confirmed, and the material was certified by Centexbel.

Nonwoven fabric for medical supplies

The materials available at Bermed can be used as non-woven fabrics for medical masks or protective clothing: gowns and coveralls. However, polypropylene nonwovens can be as well applied in other types of disposable items of protective clothing and equipment of surgical rooms. Nonwovens such as spunbond and SMS are used for the production of disposable flip-flops and shoe covers (laminated non-woven fabrics can also be used), patient clothing used during examinations and treatments (e.g. gynecological skirts) and elements securing medical equipment (e.g. cable tunnels for devices in treatment rooms and operating rooms). We encourage you to contact us and order medical nonwovens at Bermed!
